OK, lets get to the facts.....i'm known for my prep (more prep than many).Two coats with top quality paints...but on trim and sills, I'm known for 3-4 coats and will  use plenty of material . No skimping and I leave you with touchup paint. I started in 1982 painting new homes in naperville ( nice housing boom at the time) , since then new homes , old homes , historic homes , a few mansions north shore , restaurants , stores , storage places , various commercial projects and alot more.
